According to the Scottish Media, Aberdeen Football Club had a bad season last year, but still managed to sneak into 4th place in the SPL.
Although, even after some pathetic performances last season, Aberdeen supporters seem to be overly confident about the new campaign.
They are already enjoying the sight of Aberdeen being top of the league table, on alphabetical order alone, but seem to think they will stay there for the 1st few months of the campaign.
"Come September, we will be top of the league, mark my words," claims Aberdeen supporter Stood Free.
Aberdeen seem to think they have an easy start to the season, playing the likes of Inverness Caley Thistle, an trip to Motherwell and then taking on their bogey side Rangers at Pittordire.
However, Motherwell were 3rd in the SPL last season and have retained the majority of their squad, while Rangers will be a much improved side after their shock collapse in March, April and May.
Apparently Jimmy Calderwood always has a good start to his league campaigns, so its probably lucky that Dundee United don`t play them until the 6th match in!
