A Tough Decision To Quit Tannadice

Former Dundee United defender Christian Kalvenes has admitted that leaving Tannadice was a tough decision, because he enjoy the best years of his career at the club.

31-year-old Kalvenes quit Dundee United when his contract expired at the end of last season and was expected to return to Norway, but has instead signed for English Championship side Burnley.

"I loved living in Dundee, I loved the club and I loved the people I was working with," admitted Kalvenes to the Dundee Courier.

"Dundee United will always have a special place in my heart, they were the best two years of my career and I played my best football with them."

"I want to try and take that to Burnley."
