Levein & Burley - The Optimistic View
Everyone laughed when International manager George Burley claimed there were some positives to take out of Scotland`s embarrassing 1-0 defeat to Macedonia.
Now, manager Craig Levein is trying to get in on the act by claiming that Dundee United are not in any trouble, despite sitting at the bottom of the SPL league table.
Apparently, losing to Hamilton, Kilmarnock and 10-man Hibernian is nothing to be concerned about, even though the club have only taken 2 out of a possible 15 points since the season started.
'People who have not seen us play will look at the league table and say we're in trouble, but I don't believe that's the case," admitted Craig Levein to the Scottish Herald.
'Against Kilmarnock they dominated the game and against Hibs we also had loads of chances. On both occasions the opposition had two chances and scored them."
'I was delighted with the performance on Saturday and can honestly say that in all my time as a player and manager it was the best I've seen from an away team at Easter Road."
"If we keep playing to that level the results will come.'
