Difficult Home Draw In Cup Quarter-Final?

Difficult Home Draw In Cup Quarter-Final?

After last midweek`s 2-0 win over Airdire United, Dundee United are set for a difficult Quarter-Final tie against Dunfermline at Tannadice.

Goals from David Goodwillie and Scott Robertson against Airdrie United, saw Dundee United`s name in the hat for the Quarter-Final draw of the Co-operative Insurance Cup.

Dunfermline manager Jim McIntyre will relish the chance to cause an upset, by dumping his former club out of the competition.

The Scottish 1st Division side might go into the tie as underdogs, but United manager Craig Levein knows that they are quite capable of getting a results, after an impressive win over SPL side St Mirren in the previous round.

"It will be an extremely difficult game as Dunfermline are a right good side, but I would much prefer to be playing them at our place than East End Park," admitted Levein to the Dundee Courier.

Full draw:
Falkirk v Inverness Caley Thistle
Rangers v Hamilton Accies
Kilmarnock v Celtic
Dundee United v Dunfermline.
