Kilmarnock Beat United 2-0...... Again!!!

Dundee United's 10-game unbeaten run finally came to an end at Rugby Park this weekend, after bogey side Kilmarnock secured yet another 2-0 victory. It doesn`t matter how well or badly Dundee United play against Killie, the result always seems to end the same.

Despite having the majority of procession in the first half, United were unable to capitalise with no real clear-cut chances. Although, it was still a cruel blow to go into the half-time interval a goal down, after Morgaro Gomis was judged to have felled Mehdi Taouil inside the box.

Jamie Hamill slotted home the spot-kick to give the home side a lead that boosted their confidence massively in the 2nd half. Killie took complete control of the match after that and there didn`t look like anyway back for Dundee United, especially when referee Euan Norris waved away 2 convincing penalty claims.

Substitute Jon Daly was tripped by Willie Gibson inside the area, but the referee waved play-on, then later Sandaza claimed for a spot-kick after it appeared he`d been brought down by Kilmarnock goalkeeper Alan Combe.

lthough, it either penalty claim had been awarded, it would probably only have been a consolation goal, as James Fowler`s 61st minute cross gave former United player David Fernandez to score a crucial 2nd to end United`s unbeaten run.
