Hearts Football Club are hoping to boost their home support for the SPL match at Tynecastle on Saturday the 20th of December, by giving away free tickets.
The Tynecastle club are hoping to boost replica shirt sales, by giving away 2 adult tickets to see Hearts versus Dundee United, every time one of their supporters buys an adult home or away shirt before next Sunday.
Hearts average attendance this season is about 13800, but with the well publicised cash crisis and the lure of Christmas shopping, they obviously think they need to offer additional incentive to get the punters through the turnstyles.
Good luck to them, but could Dundee United supporters also capitalise on the offer?
ince the cost of the ticket for Tynecastle is £22 for an adult, and the cost of a replica top is £39.99 - if you bought a Hearts top, you`d save £4 on 2 adult tickets.
If you`ve got a relative who is a Hearts supporter, then you could also save yourself some money on Christmas presents... provided you either don`t mind sitting in the home end, or can persuade Hearts to let you move in with the other United supporters?
ArabFC.net will try to find out more....
Update (3rd December 2008): Hearts have confirmed that only home supporters can benefit from this offer, because tickets are only available for the home end at Tynecastle.
