Happy New Year From ArabFC

Happy New Year From ArabFC

Welcome to 2009…

Fingers crossed, it will be a year filled with exciting, free-flowing football and with many more trophies to add to the Tannadice trophy cabinet.

2008 will be remembered for missed opportunities in the League Cup final and the 3rd spot in the SPL, and also for the loss of 2 key players in Barry Robson and Noel Hunt.

The transfer window has now re-opened and Craig Levein once again has the chance to scour the European market for players that could boost the squad even more... provided we can hold onto the current excellent squad of players that have been assembled at the club.

Although, there aren`t many areas of the United team that currently need improved, only the lack of goals is causing a concern for many supporters - especially after the hundreds of missing opportunities against Falkirk at Tannadice last week.

Unfortunately, Dundee United kick-off the year at Parkhead, with a clash against a Celtic side which we haven`t beaten since many Hogmanys gone by... but wouldn`t now be the best time to given them what they truly deserve, a good spanking on their home turf, from the magnificent Tannadice Terrors?

Happy New Year everyone from ArabFC… lets make it a good one!
