Killie fans hand over £2500

Killie fans hand over £2500

There will be a special presentation from supporters of Kilmarnock FC on Saturday for the Heather Hird appeal. This was the charitable fund that was set up after the tragic youngster was involved in a car accident on her way home from the Boxing Day clash at Rugby Park involving the two sides.

The collection is the culmination of two separate initiatives held in honour of Heather by the supporters of Kilmarnock. There was a collection on the day of the Livingston game that brought in over 1500 and also a further cheque of almost 1000 from Kilmarnock's 97 Club.

At this time, we all would like to thank the fans of Kilmarnock FC for their generosity in what must be a difficult time for the Hird family.
