last home game for smokers

last home game for smokers

Today will be a landmark for smokers, for the first time in years, this will be the last opportunity to smoke at a professional football game in the city of Dundee.

United play Kilmarnock at Tannadice Park 24 hours before the new smoking ban comes into force. To be compliant with the Scottish Executive’s Smoking, Health & Social Care (Scotland) Act 2005, Tannadice will become non-smoking as of Sunday 26th March 2006. (as I believe Dens Park will also)

United has decided that a total ban on smoking is the only way to fully meet with the new legislation and are urging all supporters to respect the ban.
