European football is great - Dillon

Dundee United full-back Sean Dillon has urged his colleagues to make the most of their forthcoming experience of playing European football.

Dillon has already twice featured during European campaigns for his former club Longford Town in Ireland.

"European football is great, because it`s different from the usual league and cup stuff," he told the Evening Telegraph.

"It`s a fantastic thing for the fans. If we can get into the groups and guarantee them a few trips abroad, I`m sure they`ll be ecstatic."
