'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Keep them guessing

Dundee United boss Peter Houston rates his senior goalkeepers so highly that he will allow them to decide for themselves who plays in the pre-season friendlies.

Premier shot-stopper Dusan Pernis hasn't travelled to Austria as he is being given some valuable recuperation time following the World Cup.

Which means the Arabs chief will leave the final decision down to experienced veteran custodian Steve Banks on if he should play, or just when new signing Filip Mentel might be unleashed.

"Goalkeeper-wise, with Dusan not being here just now, I`ll speak to Banksy and say 'who`s playing tonight?`," Houston told the Evening Telegraph.

"Banksy got three games in Oban and Filip got two. I don`t know if they want a half each or not I`m not that bothered about that.

"I`m not too worried about who`s going in goal because the two of them are excellent keepers."
