Arabs face Conway fight
Dundee United could face a fight to hold onto winger Craig Conway after Middlesbrough made a formal approach to sign him.
Their manager Gordon Strachan is a known long-time admirer of the 25-year-old who scored twice at Hampden Park in the Scottish Cup final triumph last May.
However, Boro are expected to be quoted a fee of in the region of £1.2m if they are to finally secure the services of the Scottish international.
But with Conway out of contract in the summer the Arabs may still struggle to collect as much as they are demanding.
Meanwhile, former club Ayr United are also entitled to a 20% cut as part of the original deal that brought him to Tannadice four years ago.
