Arabs reject double bid

English Premier League newcomers Blackpool have had bids rejected for Dundee United pair David Goodwillie and Garry Kenneth according to latest reports.

Manager Ian Holloway has been busily trying to strengthen his hand at Bloomfield Road during the summer as the Seasiders prepare themselves for their long-awaited return to the top-flight.

And as a result Arabs pair Goodwillie (21) and Kenneth (23) have both recently come under his gaze, to such an extent that Holloway is understood to have already had £1m offers flatly rejected by the Tannadice club.

Their verdict hardly comes as a surprise given that talented prospect Goodwillie is currently on the verge of the Scottish national squad.

Meanwhile, his trusty defensive colleague Kenneth has also previously been eyed by the likes of Blackpool's new divisional rivals Birmingham City and Wolverhampton Wanderers in recent weeks.
