Blackpool rumours rubbish - Houston

Dundee United boss Peter Houston has rubbished speculation saying that Blackpool had bid for his young starlets David Goodwillie and Garry Kenneth.

Latest reports were indicating that the Arabs had rejected a £1m approach from the English Premier League newcomers.

However, Houston has since poured scorn over those suggestions: "I`ve seen the stories about Goodwillie and Kenneth," he told the Evening Telegraph. "All I`ll say is they`re a load of rubbish."

Blackpool were previously linked with defender Kenneth in January, but their subsequent derisory £100,000 offer was unsurprisingly laughed out of court by the Arabs.
