Danny hungry for success

Danny hungry for success

Danny Cadamarteri is hoping to feast on a barbecue while watching the Europa League draw from Switzerland next Friday.

The Arabs could be paired off with the likes of Manchester City, Liverpool or Borussia Dortmund when the numbers come out, and goal-hungry striker Cadamarteri is planning on asking skipper Jon Daly to organise a barbecue in celebration.

"The excitement is building ahead of next week's European draw because it is a step into the unknown for a lot of us," Cadamarteri told the Daily Record. "Maybe our new captain will organise a barbecue for the lads so we can all get round the telly and watch the draw.

"I'll have to speak to him about that actually because I think it would be great for team morale," he continued. "It's a big occasion for all of us so it would be good if we're all together to savour it.

"We don't have much European experience so it's a case of asking people like Paul Hegarty what to expect because he's been there and done it."
