Robertson shocked at outburst
Scott Robertson openly admitted he was shocked when manager Peter Houston tore into his Dundee United side following their inept 1-1 draw at Glentoran last week.
He confirmed that it was a first for him to see his boss really lose it with his charges.
But it seemed to work right enough as the Arabs scraped a late equaliser in that game before slamming five goals past Raith Rovers in their next fixture.
And Robertson was hoping that his colleagues could take their improved form into this weekend's meeting with Hull City at the KC Stadium.
"The boss doesn't get angry and Glentoran was the first time I've heard him shout," he told the Daily Record.
"We were not playing well and some of our play was sloppy. He had every right to be furious and what he said made an impact.
"We know now that when he raises his voice it's because he's seriously annoyed and hopefully that's the only time we'll hear it," Robertson continued.
"Everything he said was taken on board and the performance at Raith was better. Hopefully we will continue like that this weekend."
