Dusan keeping options open

Dundee United goalkeeper Dusan Pernis won't be sidetracked by recent speculation linking him with a move to the English Premiership.

The Slovakian is happy at Tannadice at the current time although he wasn't ruling out a move south sometime in the future.

And that could interest both Fulham and West Ham United who have recently been linked with his services and are reported as having sent scouts to watch him in the narrow weekend defeat at Hull City.

"I have heard the rumours but I don't know anything about any offers from those clubs," Pernis told the Daily Record. "Of course it's great to have those kinds of teams interested in me. And I always said I came to Scotland to move closer to my dream which was to play in the English Premier League.

"But I am young, I'm 25 and I have plenty of time to do that in the future," he added. "I am a Dundee United player and happy with that. It has been a brilliant experience for me so far at this club. I feel I can continue to become a better goalkeeper here - I do not have to leave."
