Give us a clue, Walter

 Give us a clue, Walter

Manager Peter Houston will take advice from his Rangers counterpart Walter Smith ahead of Dundee United's European excursion to AEK Athens.

Rangers took on the Arabs' Europa League opponents during their tour of Australia this summer and Houston plans to contact Smith for a few pointers before the contest.

"I know Rangers played them recently, so I'll give Walter a phone and ask him about them," Houston told The Press and Journal. "It was just a pre-season game, so they won't have been at full pelt, but any information he's able to give me will be helpful.

"We'll have to see if they have any games in the next couple of weeks and do our homework on them," he continued. "It's not a tie we're going to fear, I don't think we need to be scared of anyone.

"Being at home first is a positive in my point of view. Hopefully, we can do some good work at home and that will give us something when we go to Greece," Houston added. "Athens will be a hard place to go. Their fans are very passionate, so it will be some experience for our lads."
