Saints end Cameron interest

 Saints end Cameron interest

Weekend opponents St Mirren have ended their interest in former Arabs midfielder Greg Cameron.

The 22-year-old was released from Tannadice at the end of last season and has since been on trial with St Mirren.

However, their manager Danny Lennon has now decided that other areas of his squad are more in need of strengthening.

"I spoke to his agent, it was a more specific position we were looking for," Lennon told the Daily Record. "The boy certainly had the ability but we feel we are particularly strong in that area."
