Conway may have played last game
Dundee United winger Craig Conway may have played his last game for the club and could finally be on his way to Middlesbrough.
Boro chief executive Keith Lamb emailed Arabs chairman Stephen Thompson on Saturday evening advising him that an offer was on the way for the Scottish international.
"Middlesbrough have now sent us an email saying they are going to make a bid but as we stand here on Sunday evening they have not made a bid," Arabs manager Peter Houston told The Courier.
"Craig is an honest lad and if it comes off for him, then great for him, but we have still not seen the colour of their money yet," he added.
"If they are sending out emails on a Saturday night then I suppose a bid is imminent."
The Tangerines are understood to want a fee of around £1.2m for the former Ayr United forward who scored twice for them in their Scottish Cup final triumph in May.
