Arabs reject Sandaza loan bid

Dundee United have told Swansea City they are not interested in a loan deal for striker Francisco Sandaza.

The Spaniard spent last week on trial at the Liberty Stadium and the Championship club have since come back with a loan request.

However, the Arabs want the 25-year-old fully off their books and are prepared to give him a free transfer.

Sandaza was one of three players recently made available along with fellow forwards Danny Cadamarteri and Jeno Myrie-Williams.

Meanwhile, David Goodwillie has been called into the Scotland squad for their UEFA Under-21 European Championships matches against Belarus and Austria next month.
