New venue in Athens announced
Dundee United's Europa League second-leg tie against AEK Athens will now be played at Nea Smyrni Stadium on Thursday evening.
The Olympic Stadium surface in Athens was earlier declared unplayable as the hosts looked to defend a 1-0 advantage from the first game.
And AEK managed to beat a UEFA deadline that could have forced their expulsion from the competition by switching the game to the 11,700-capacity Athens home of Superleague rivals Panionios.
Earlier, Arabs chairman Stephen Thompson had been furious that his team were preparing to depart on Wednesday morning without knowing their exact destination.
He was also deeply concerned for the safety of United's 600 travelling fans after it was originally suggested to relocate the tie outside Athens.
