Striker set for exit
Dundee United striker Francisco Sandaza could be about to complete a permanent move to Swansea City.
The Championship club had been initially hoping to take the 25-year-old Spaniard on loan. However, that idea was swiftly rejected as Arabs manager Peter Houston is keen to remove him from the club's wage bill.
"Fran looks to be moving on and I believe Swansea have agreed a package with him," Houston told the Daily Record.
"He is one of our top earners but because of his fitness problems we've not been able to get him on the pitch and Swansea are willing to take a chance on him."
Those fitness problems have restricted him to 43 appearances and eleven goals in two seasons at Tannadice.
