Casalinuovo moves to Accies

Hamilton Academical have snapped up Argentinian striker Damian Casalinuovo from Dundee United on a two-year deal.

The Accies originally submitted their bid for the 23-year-old late on Tuesday afternoon and this was accepted. Negotiations with the player then lasted into the evening until being agreed just after 11pm.

Casalinuovo originally joined the Arabs fourteen months ago and has since spent a loan period with First Division side Raith Rovers.

He was formerly with Platense in his homeland and also had a spell at Valez Sarsfield.
