Scott relishes Dons test

Scott relishes Dons test

Ex-Aberdeen skipper Scott Severin is aiming to silence the supporters of his former club when they meet Dundee United this weekend.

The Scottish international faces the prospect of coming up against his one-time employers for the first tomorrow since recently completing a switch to Tannadice.

"We always looked forward to going down to Tannadice when I was at Aberdeen," he told the Daily Record. "We didn't get too many wins there in my time and now I'm with United I obviously hope that continues.

"Aberdeen's away support give the team great backing and the atmosphere is always electric so it will be up to us to silence them as much as possible."
