Conway set for top honours

Conway set for top honours

Craig Conway will soon rediscover his outstanding form of last season and force his way back into the Scotland squad, according to his manager Peter Houston.

The Arabs managed to fend off a couple of offers from Middlesbrough during the transfer window and Houston - who assists Scots boss Craig Levein at international level - believes further international recognition will soon be on the way.

"His overall play towards the second half of last season was as good as anything," he told the Daily Record. "He's getting more consistent and now Craig is becoming, in my opinion, a right good player.

"I honestly feel that if he can get back to that form and maintain that form, Craig Conway could easily get a call into the Scotland squad," Houston added. "It's not for me to say that, but he can't fail to impress Craig Levein if he continues with performances like that."
