Forfar Athletic 0 Dundee United 2

Dundee United completed a comfortable victory against Forfar Athletic in the Forfarshire Cup at Station Park on Tuesday evening.

Striker Andis Shala netted both goals, with his first coming ten minutes into the second-half after seizing upon a rebound and slotting home.

The German then took advantage of a Johnny Russell knock down to add another midway through the second period.

Arabs goalkeeper Stevie Banks was rarely troubled and required to make only one significant save throughout.

Dundee United: Banks, Lee, Dods, Hill, Dixon, Russell, S. Robertson, Allan, Dow, Cadamarteri, Shala
