No fear from Douglas

No fear from Douglas

Dundee United's Scott Robertson says that summer arrival Barry Douglas won't be daunted at the prospect of playing at Ibrox this weekend.

Douglas has settled in particularly well after being signed from Queen's Park - to such an extent that he had a starring role in the Arabs' recent victory against Aberdeen.

"Barry was excellent against Aberdeen. It's one good performance, but hopefully for him he can mount a very strong challenge with Paul Dixon for the left-back slot," Robertson told the Dundee Courier.

"He has come from a lower league side like myself, and that is an avenue the club has explored with much success in the past," he continued. "He has taken to full-time football really well for someone who is still so young. So I don't think the prospect of going to Ibrox will faze him at all."
