Swanson back in training

Swanson back in training

Dundee United midfielder Danny Swanson is training again after missing most of the season to date with back related problems.

The 23-year-old has had a really difficult time with injuries this season and been restricted to just a solitary and brief appearance at Hearts. Swanson has been suffering from regular hamstring trouble which has been linked to an ongoing issue with his back.

"We're not going to rush him, though, because he's been out for a wee while," manager Peter Houston told The Courier. "I think he's only started one game this season and had to come off after just a few minutes.

"He's had a horrible time with his back but has been doing a lot of work with a chiropractor and is feeling the benefit of it," he added. "Hopefully he won't get any reaction from coming back into training and will be able to build it up from here."
