Houston hopes Arabs are on the turn
Dundee United manager Peter Houston hopes his side have now turned the corner after ending a run of three successive defeats at the weekend.
Leading scorer David Goodwillie snatched a late winner as the Arabs edged past the challenge of Hibernian at Tannadice. That followed a couple of recent defeats to Motherwell and also another at the hands of Celtic.
"I feel the breaks have not went for us in recent weeks," Houston told BBC Scotland. "The biggest thing I asked for today was a clean sheet.
"It was only the second of the season, but today it was back to basics, make sure we defend properly and trying to nick a goal," he continued.
"We didn't create much ourselves in the second half and it was just a typical David Goodwillie goal, fighting for the energy on the ball, beating the goalkeeper to it and knocking it into the net."
