More checks for Darren

More checks for Darren

Arabs defender Darren Dods is due to have further tests on his knee but it appears unlikely that surgery will be required.

The experienced 35-year-old is set to have another scan to determine the full extent of the problem.

"Darren has spoken to his surgeon again and he wants him to have another scan," manager Peter Houston told The Courier.

"He thinks the ligament is stuck to the bone a wee bit but doesn't expect that to need an operation. Darren will go for the scan to make sure."

Meanwhile, Houston is, as expected, ready to offer the sidelined Mihael Kovacevic a new deal.

"Mihael won't be back until January time, but I'm planning to sit down with him to talk about a contract," he confirmed.
