Scott desperate for a goal

Dundee United midfielder Scott Robertson hasn't scored for almost two years and is desperately keen to end that record.

His last goal arrived as far back as December 2008 against Falkirk, and now fully restored to fitness the 25-year-old remains determined to improve that statistic at the earliest opportunity.

"I want to start scoring again as soon as possible - simple as that," Robertson told The Scotsman. "It is nearly two years since I last scored a goal. Some of that is down to the fact I've been injured but I still want to change that.

"All it needs is for one to drop for me and hopefully I can stick it away to go on a wee goal run again."
