Dundee United are in the right frame of mind for their back-to-back clashes with the Old Firm following last week's game against Kilmarnock, reckons Arabs midfielder Morgaro Gomis.
The Tangerines face a trip to Parkhead to take on Celtic this weekend before then hosting current SPL leaders Rangers at Tannadice eight days later.
"Because Kilmarnock looked to play attacking football it made it a more enjoyable game for us to play in, and it also helped us to perform better," Gomis told The Courier. "When we're playing a team like that it suits us more than one that sits in and waits for us to attack them.
"I didn't see Celtic's match against St Mirren but I heard that they got another last-minute winner," he continued. "We know all about that of course, because they did the same to us.
"It's not as if other teams give up when it's late in games but you can always be sure that Celtic will play right until the end of the match — however long that may be — and they also have the quality to score."
