Conway targets more cup glory

Conway targets more cup glory

Dundee United winger Craig Conway has returned to training and is setting his sights on more Scottish Cup glory for his club.

Conway memorably scored twice against Ross County in the final of the competition last season, and his team-mates kick-off their defence of the trophy against the same opposition at Tannadice this weekend.

"I can't wait to get back in training," Conway told the Daily Record. "I will have to take it slowly and it will probably take a bounce game or two before I am ready to be involved in the SPL.

"There are plenty of games left and within a couple of months I hope to get back to the form I showed last season.

"Defending a trophy is probably harder than winning it in the first place because everyone is out to get you," he added. "But the lads will cope with that no problem."
