Terrors confirm Goodwillie approaches

Dundee United have confirmed a couple of approaches for leading scorer David Goodwillie, one of which has come from England. The 21-year-old has been in terrific form this season and already helped himself to eleven goals.

Current SPL champions Rangers have previously being linked with a player who still has eighteen months left on his current deal at Tannadice.

"There have been a lot of inquiries, a lot of interest shown, but no offers to date so he remains a Dundee United player as far as I'm concerned," chairman Stephen Thompson told BBC Scotland.

"Obviously, he's in great form and has a great future ahead of him. We'll see what happens in the next few weeks."
