We should have won - Houston
Dundee United manager Peter Houston said he was unhappy with a point after relying on a late David Robertson equaliser at St Mirren.
Substitute Robertson headed home a David Goodwillie cross with two minutes remaining to cancel out Darren McGregor's first-half effort.
That was enough to extend the Tangerines' recent run to eight draws in their last nine games.
"I'm not happy because we should've won the match when I look at the chances we created," Houston told BBC Scotland. "Great credit to our players because they never give up and I felt it was one-way traffic towards the end and we deserved the goal.
"Paul Gallacher's had a great save from Johnny Russell, Garry Kenneth should've scored with a free header in the middle of the six-yard box, David Goodwillie's missed an open goal when he's hit the bar with it," he added.
"Eight draws out of nine and one defeat in 14. There's a lot of pluses but we have to turn some of these draws into victories."
