Houston won't pass over deficiencies

Peter Houston was naturally pleased with Dundee United's victory over Hibernian but not totally satisfied with their overall performance.

Goals from Jon Daly, Craig Conway and substitute Johnny Russell were enough to claim a 3-0 success and lift the home side back into the top six in the table.

"I thought we got sloppy at times. There's other games where we've passed better," Houston told BBC Scotland. "When we went 2-0 up, we panicked. We couldn't get the ball out of our box and Hibs were throwing people forward.

"The scoreline looks comfortable, but I wasn't comfortable in the dugout," he added. "But I'm delighted with their resilience. I'm delighted with their effort and work-rate, but we can pass the ball better than what we did today."
