Terrors facing big problems
Dundee United are running into huge fixture problems after their latest game against Hamilton Academical was called off at Tannadice.
The Tangerines are still to play a dozen SPL games in addition to a Scottish Cup tie before 9th April.
"It could mean that two of the weeks we'll be playing four games. We could be playing eight games in a fortnight," manager Peter Houston told BBC Scotland. "That's not great with the size of our playing pool."
His side are currently seventh in the table and have four games in hand on each of the clubs above them other than Rangers. The SPL splits into a top six and a bottom six once all the clubs have completed 33 games.
"Three years ago Rangers had to play four games in a week. We are going to be the same, by the looks of it," added Houston. "We had all our games organised up to the split apart from a Rangers match.
"The SPL would have been hoping we could have got all our games on and perhaps finished in the top six where we could have played them after the split."
