'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Good news for Terrors

Leading goalscorer David Goodwillie has agreed a one-year extension to his contract that will keep him at the club until May 2013.

The 22-year-old has netted fifteen goals so far this season, which prompted an approach from Rangers during the January transfer window.

"I am thrilled that David has agreed to extend his contract," manager Peter Houston told BBC Scotland. "To have secured his services until then is a major coup.

"David has shown a terrific improvement in his overall game within the last 12 months as well as continuing to show the undoubted talent that he has always had and he is now recognised as one of the top strikers in the SPL."
