No good bids for striker

No good bids for striker

Dundee United are still to receive any new bids for striker David Goodwillie, according to chairman Stephen Thompson.

The 22-year-old was expected to leave the club after scoring eighteen times last season and amidst rumours of possible interest from Rangers, Celtic, Liverpool and Chelsea.

"I have heard all the speculation, but the truth of the matter is until someone puts an offer on the table nothing will happen," Thompson told BBC Scotland. "We did receive two offers in January, but turned them down because they did not meet our valuation.

"Since we turned down the two offers in January there has not been one single offer to us from anyone for David Goodwillie."
