Tangerines issue Flood warning

Tangerines issue Flood warning

Dundee United are interested in signing their former midfielder Willo Flood from Middlesbrough.

But they were expected to face stiff competition for the Republic of Ireland international's services, with both Aberdeen and Hearts also ready to make a move.

Flood, 26, is a free agent after recently being released from the Riverside, and previously made 56 appearances for the Taysiders before joining Celtic a couple of years ago.

The Tangerines are likely to lose a number of players over the summer and have already added ex-Hibernian midfielder John Rankin to their squad.
