Former midfielder heading for Blues
Former Dundee United midfielder Morgaro Gomis is still expected to complete a move to relegated Birmingham City despite the recent departure of manager Alex McLeish.
French-born Gomis, 25, is currently a free agent after rejecting new terms at Tannadice at the end of last season.
And acting Blues chairman Peter Pannu confirmed that he would still be joining Birmingham as they prepare for life back in the Championship.
Gomis had been a regular for the Terrors since arriving from Cowdenbeath four years ago. He also had spells in non-league with Windsor & Eton, Dagenham & Redbridge, Barnet and Lewes and is one of a number of players currently on their way out of the club.
Scottish international winger Craig Conway has been linked with Rangers, Leeds United, Leicester City and Watford amongst others, while Ghana midfielder Prince Buaben was a target of Swansea City.
Fellow schemer David Robertson has also recently departed in favour of SPL rivals St Johnstone.
