Flood can't wait for Europe

New signing Willo Flood can't wait for Dundee United's European campaign to begin although he knows it certainly won't be easy.

The Tangerines have been paired with Slask Wroclaw in the second qualifying round of the Europa League and travel to Poland on 14th July, with the return at Tannadice seven days later.

"It`s going to be a tough draw but hopefully we can get a good pre-season behind us and we can give them a good game," Flood told stv.tv.

"I`m just looking forward to getting back on the pitch and enjoying myself again. But I have to get my fitness back again," he added. "I hope the club can finish in the top six and I can stay injury free."
