'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Youngsters can cope - Severin

Scott Severin holds no fears that Dundee United's youngsters can handle the pressure situation of facing Polish side Slask Wroclaw in their own backyard on Thursday.

Injuries and recent departures have left the Tangerines with a distinctly youthful appearance for their forthcoming Europa League clash.

The likes of Johnny Russell, Keith Watson, Barry Douglas, Stuart Armstrong and Scott Allan will all be involved at some level and the experienced Severin has every confidence in them.

"They are all confident in their own ability and so they should be," he told the Dundee Courier. "That kind of self-belief is what you need going into a game like this.

"Some of them haven't played any European football before but they have bags of ability, which they will hopefully show on the night."
