Third Rangers bid for Goodwillie turned down

David Goodwillie's transfer from Dundee United took another twist after SPL champions Rangers had a third bid turned down by the Tannadice club.

Rangers' latest offer for Goodwillie, 22, is believed to be in the region of 1.6m with a further 600,000 to pay in add-ons.

And that follows Blackburn Rovers' earlier potential 2.8m offer stalling over contractual issues.

Goodwillie has so far been refused to speak to any club in person until a satisfactory fee has been agreed.
