Striker Jon Daly and defender Sean Dillon have both agreed contract extensions keeping them at Dundee United until May 2013.
Daly, 28, has been a regular in the side after arriving from Hartlepool United four years ago. He has since scored 39 times and also earned himself the captaincy.
Meanwhile, Dillon, 28, has completed in excess of 150 senior appearances following his move from from Longford Town in the League of Ireland.
"Jon is an important member of the squad," manager Peter Houston told BBC Scotland. "He is respected by the players and staff and he has also shown himself to be willing to play anywhere for the team. He has filled the central back position superbly on a few occasions but his strike rate this season shows that he is most important to the team as a striker.
"And Sean is a versatile player who is able to fill any position along the back line," he continued. "He brings plenty of experience to our young squad, is a model professional who goes about his business in the right way and I'm delighted that he has agreed to extend his contract at the club."
