Scott vows to return

Scott vows to return

Scott Severin has assured Dundee United he will be back in action as soon as possible after a triple leg break against St Mirren ruled him out for the rest of the season.

The experienced midfielder was trying his best to remain positive despite the heartache of seeing his campaign ended before it had hardly even begun.

"I've just got to get on with it now," Severin told stv.tv. "It's happened. I just need to look to the future and try and get back as quickly as possible.

"I need to get back 100 per cent or there is no point in coming back and then getting injured again," he continued. "We're just going to have to take it day by day and see how I feel. But hopefully I can make it back before the end of the season.

"I've had lots of operations before and I have always came back. Even though this is probably the worst injury I have ever had, I'm going to keep positive."
