Terrors rocked by injury blow
Dundee United have received a major injury blow with the news that skipper Jon Daly has been ruled out for around a month.
Striker Daly missed the weekend draw at St Johnstone due to a strained medial ligament and the problem is expected to keep him out of the next league game against Rangers in a fortnight.
"Jon has had a scan on his knee and it showed up a medial ligament strain so he'll be out for three to four weeks," manager Peter Houston told the Dundee Courier. "It's something we could have done without because we are short on strikers.
"We just signed Lauri Dalla Valle to add to the numbers but at the weekend I was left with just him and Johnny Russell. It's not ideal but hopefully Jon will be back soon."
