Club honour former manager

Club honour former manager

Dundee United have named a stand after their former manager Jim McLean.

Directors of the club made the decision after consultations with the legendary one-time Tangerines chief.

The stand in question was previously called the Fair Play Stand as recognition for supporters' behaviour at the UEFA Cup final in 1987.

The long-serving McLean spent more than two decades at the club, during which time the new 'Jim McLean Stand' was reconstructed.
