Levein impressed by Terrors midfielder

Scotland boss Craig Levein has been paying rich tributes to Dundee United midfielder Danny Swanson.

The 24-year-old was on target in the weekend 3-1 home victory over Inverness CT and was actually signed by Levein during his time in charge at Tannadice.

"I'm a huge admirer of him," Levein told BBC Scotland. "I've said on a number of occasions that he's without doubt the most talented player that I've worked with. And I think he has the potential to be an international player.

"He's an exciting player. He gets the ball, drives at people and creates opportunities," he added. "When Danny and Craig Conway played together and were at the top of their game, United were almost unbeatable."
